These novels are a hodge-podge of adventures and events involving a creature known as the Revenant. This creature appears as an animated skeleton and has both natural and unnatural origins. Despite the monstrous tales humans have told throughout the ages, these Revenants make up a very important part of Embri’s history and culture.

Chaos has enveloped nearly every facet of life for 10-year old Hope Dandelion. Alone and unknowingly pursued by the devil, himself, she prays to God for a friend. God does her one better by sending her one of his most powerful angels ever created…a fallen angel by the name of Vladimir. However, the mighty angel isn’t exactly “angelic,” in any sense of the word and the pair need to learn to deal with one another. Meanwhile, Hope still has to deal with the stresses of her day to day life and Vladimir has to be the barrier between the child and the wave of demons sent to bring her to Hell as Lucifer’s bride.
